let's call it the inside then. it's glued to the back of the intake parts so that these are not showing white paper when you look into them.

like having the inside of an exhaust covered with a black part.

I hope that make sense. Anyway on this small model, you might do without the part. It is hard to peek into the exhaust anyway.

Hello... I have been absent a lot lately due to "Travel Season" for work. My last trip for the year will take me to South Korea to deal with some Asiana Airlines folks. When I return I will resume my normal building pace. In the meantime I am admiring the S&P Texan (yellow wings version) and I am asking if anybody already built one of these for me to look at. I am attempting build #7 so after 6 failures (all 1/100 scale) I would like a visual reference for help. My issue is that it seems that the aft Fuselage and Forward Fuselage are two different sizes and how the hell does that wing get correctly attached?

Things have settled down quite a bit at work (travel season is almost over)... This gave me time to practice S&P builds and see my latest result! The S&P Gnat scaled up to 1/72 and printed on regular (non-premium office copy paper). I am happy with how it turned out and also because it's pure paper and nothing but paper. I went over the canopy with a black sharpie because I did not like the "assembly lines". Practice makes perfect guys... soon I'll be building 1/100 like the best of them.
