Well here she is... pretty straight forward build with no major complications. The most difficult part is the cockpit windows area. I am sure more talented builders can do it flawlessly at 1/100 scale.

So here is what is currently on the Table... 1/100 "Kansas Tornado" P-47 by S&P and Repainted by Brent. The Fuselage was built in less than 20 minutes using Aleene's Turbo glue.

Final update for today... She is almost complete. I just have to mount the prop tomorrow and build her display stand. I decided to darken up the cowling front face because the printing was too faded from over handling and looked unrealistic.I like the overall weathered paint look; like she's been put thru some rough missions.

From what I can see there's little anyone else could do to improve on yours Falco. Looks straight, square and neat. The cockpit windows would need to be changed before printing so the same applies there.

Thank you for sharing, now I remember that I put the C-141 in the queue printed in silverized paper.
But where it is, I print a lot faster than build :-( pd The P-47 also could be nice in silverized |

That would be very nice... please keep us in the loop should you get it started.

Well "Kansas Tornado" was accidentally destroyed by a curious co-worker who severely misjudged how fragile these little gems are... It will be missed! Anyway next up is the S&P J-29... Since I had some trouble figuring out how she goes together I decided to build a larger scale (1/50) version to find all the potential problem areas before building it at 1/100. The only issue I encountered so far is that you need to flip the turbine exhaust area 180 degrees and not lineup the bottom seem because the roundel will not lineup correctly. Also I would recommend that you glue the tail section to the turbine exhaust section before joining them to the mid fuselage section.

Update... almost done and ready to be "shafted" on display stand. The black band on the aft section of the fuselage is to mask my mistake.
