Progress is slow but wings are attached... This bird has seen some action and is represented here with "Combat Grime" and oil stains from the long hard missions it survived... Prop is next and that will be it for this little guy. I will mount it on a small Toothpick Style Stand and call it done. I did acquire the Brent repaint and it will be next in line.

Thanks... for next model I want to try 3D Cowl and Engine (Simple Engine... basically a face plate but recessed in for 3d effect) and Landing Gear Down Config. If too small for such detail I will build it at 1/50 scale.

I now want a "Metal Finish" repaint of this model... Does Brent take commissions for repaints?

for the Brent repaint, it will be a 1/50 Scale build with step by step photos of the build but it will be 100% as designed no modifications beyond what Brent added which I believe was only the landing gear.

Look for my thread on the P-47 Razorback that I built from Airdave's Birthday kit I resized from 1:33. He has some NMF -47's on his site. I was really happy with how it turned out.

Good looking 'jug'. recessing the face is simplicity itself. Just cut the circle @ 1mm bigger or so then insert in from the back. landing gear can be as simple as a tube for the main and little discs piled on each other for wheels then a simple horse shoe bent piece and smaller disc for the rear. You got this, just push the envelope a little each time.
