papermate I don’t mind if you post photos of your work on my threads... It’s a community thing and all are welcomed to participate. I gotta say that I Am all over the C-21. I love military cargo planes... my favorite being the C-123 and the C-17 in second place.

I'm Back!!!

Well I have been away for a while to deal with work related issues and deaths in the family due to COVID-19... I logged in a few times to check on the forum to make sure I was not falling too far behind and to mark my official return, I am resuming my S&P Build series with the S&P XF-103 build using plane jane 20lb. paper... It's good to be back!

Latest build... the S&P MiG-21F-13, it's a good little kit easy and fun to build even at 1/100 scale. I printed out all my 21s so expect a few more to come.

I lost interest in the Mig-21s and set them aside for now... My new "WIP" is the S&P J-10S... an awesome looking jet. This is not an easy build and requires a lot of patience and trial fitting. This is my first attempt so it may not come out looking that great. Also for the first time in S&P planes I am using custom made separate tabs and it's working out great for me on this kit.

Final update for this week... it’s coming along nicely but I wonder if the dorsal area is supposed to be squarish??? Believe it or not I could not find a good enough photo to tell on the internet. Bruno clearly put scoring lines on these parts leading me to think that they should be.

Too many good subjects to build... My focused shifted from the J-10 to the recently released mirage 2000s... Here is a build of the S&P mirage 2000 prototype. this was a trial build so some parts were left out.

While work continues on the J-10... I decided to share with you the tools I used for building S&P kits. As you can see I keep it simple and portable. I also have a bigger model storage box similar to this container for keeping the builds afe until finished. It's just bug enough to hold any size S&P kit minus the very large aircraft.

The J-10S is done... left some unnecessary bits off! This one is a relatively easy kit for such a complex shape.
