Thanks... I am hoping for things to settle down and I can get back to building steady again!

Latest build... Hawker Osprey (no wire rigging... not enough experience for that). I am looking for the clear plastic to make a "Spinning Prop" Rata style but no luck so far. Not too happy with this one as the struts where pure hell to install (and they are not even in the correct position). I omitted the rear gun because I wanted make love not war; or I felt really lazy and wanted to move on to the next kit.

Hi Falco. Those 'spinning props' are pretty easy to do. Put your hobby knife into a cheap school kid's compass, score a circle onto a clear plastic packaging throwaway and using the scored circle as a guide cut out the disc with scissors. Any rough bits can be sanded off with mid coarse emery and the centre hole opened out to suit the prop hub with a rat-tail file. Make the hole a snug fit so it will sit in place without glue and then apply small bits of glue with a pin or toothpick. Do NOT use super glue as it 'clouds' and crazes the plastic.

Next... S-211! My first successful build of this kit by S&P and I love everything about it. Air intakes were the only real challenge and you have to get them right for the wing to go on properly. I am really happy with how it turned out but also I know I can build the next one even better. Model is scaled up approximately 145% and printed on 24 lbs paper.

Neat Falco. You've done better than me: I'm pretty good with the wood and wire subjects but I always struggle with jets for some reason.

Next... F-111 by S&P. This is scaled up to 1/50 by Serg3T (Thank you very much!). This thing is HUGE. The obvious "non-scale" design features not normally perceivable at 1/300 or 1/100 are glaringly obvious at 1/50 scale but guess what??? I LOVE IT... EVERYBODY IN THE OFFICE LOVES IT! It will go on the ceiling in my son's room.

Hey,I like the Osprey but your jets are pretty cool too.One day I'll get Hart and re-engine it to radial version used by Swedes in Winter War.

I enlarge mine as well just not to that degree.Something near 1:72 seems to be the best compromise for my skills, room and time I have.
