Slow progress... almost on purpose because it's going so great that I want to milk it as much as I can! It's coming together really well.

That's a wrap for today... Trying to build slow for more enjoyment. I will build another even better right after this one.

Nice so far Falco. Landing gear on this one or 'clean'?

Looks like a T-38, and it also looks sharp as a tack.

Thanks a lot guys... Rata its going to be a clean version. I never liked displaying my models in the landing gear down configuration.

Well it's done but not too happy with how the canopy turned out... During assembly of the canopy it took on a "banana" shape that should have raised a red flag in my brain telling me I will have assembly issues. Well when mating with the fuselage there is a gap between the edge of the frame and the fuselage so I tried to press down to close the gap but ended up wrinkling the forward end of the windshield... I must figure out a solution to prevent this on my next build.

That's a common fault with the canopies I personally suffer with the jets of S&P. Right now I have trouble aligning A-4 Skyhawks canopies. Read and re-read Rata's tutorial about assembling canopies but I can't get a straight edge for gluing them. I've seen pictures of Brent's build and he even let them not very sharp close in various tabs. I achieve the same result with an F4F Two-seater Tiger II. Best Regards and waiting for your next post. Tony.

I will give it another go... but until then here is the T-38 in it's final resting place (on a shelf in office until it is destroyed by a clumsy curious co-worker).

The canopy issue is not all that noticeable. Nice build regardless.
