S&P 1/100 Seversky P-35

Forerunner to the Republic P-43 and then the legendary P-47 Thunderbolt. Bruno's got a bunch of these through Ecard at the moment- I've got 'em all and this is my first. Hope you like.

Excellent construction, perfect, and if you want your model to be better, try to paint the white edges, some colleagues will tell you the same, you lose only a few minutes but the result is worth it, anything is useful, pencils, markers, watercolors to a Black pen. The perfect construction, I already told you that you have enormous talent.

I tried doing the edges on a couple of my earlier models using paint, but had colour running and bleed problems- it looked worse than if I'd just left it white.
But yesterday, another member ( I wish I could remember who it was to give them credit) on another post said they use colour pencils like you say and get good results- and the pics of their model certainly proved that. I'll try it on this model and post some more pics to see what you think.

Kind regards, Garry G.

markers

I find that these do not bleed and come in a variety of good colors for this purpose:

Also, paint the edges from the back face in case of any hand slippages
Best

Thanks Barry. Sounds worth a try too. I'm reluctant to use anything 'wet' - pencils and these markers sound good though.
