Great work on the Fulmar.
I built the Wheaties Fulmar about 20 years ago. It is the best of all the Wheaties gliders I built. Both adult grandsons flew it many times. Long, true, straight glides every time so long as the wing tips and tail surfaces were unbent. Don Last edited by Don Boose; 04-24-2018 at 06:14 AM. |

Here's a PDF of the re-touched Wheaties Spitfire. Instructions are out there somewhere.

Padraig -
My Fulmar was scanned from a reissue that I purchased from Lou Dausse about 30 years ago. Many thanks for the Spitfire. Don |

That B-17 looks great! I enjoyed your flight videos, and it's one of the aspects of this hobby that I think often gets overlooked.
I have a hunch that your bird might actually do better in a little more wind. Also you might consider launching from a hill, into a thermal, or with a rubber catapult. I look forward to seeing more of your flight demonstrations with this and other aircraft! |

Very nice! Though in the one clip I thought it might end up in the street.

Thanks Yeti, Don, Michael and John. :-)
There is one final flight planned for the B-17 after repairs and will be from high, after cutting and tweaking ailerons. But for today: Experimental envelope windows in my Wheaties Thunderbolt penny flier! It worked out pretty well ... take a peek. |
