RPS, many thanks. I had this site bookmarked ages ago, but somehow deleted it by mistake. Great models there.

Der kleine Fokker ist fertig

Ready to head out over the trenches for some Tommy Hunting. Those clever Huns saved a huge amount of time by not rigging these guys!

A nice build from our departed friend Zio Prudenziati. I have to say that if you build one of these or any of his bipes you need to check the landing gear. This one has the LG way to splayed. I did his Albatros D.V in the normal 1/72 scale and it was too wide as well. Other than that it turns out very nice. Adding the side strengtheners and wing spars from card really makes it sturdy. I also embedded .008 music wire in the struts and lg legs. Takes a few extra minutes but the wings pretty much snap together like a plastic kit when the struts are stiffened.

Beautiful build Michael.

You really did honor Zio's design.

What a beautiful model you achieved.

That's what I'm talking about! The B&W pic looks real authentic.

That splayed undercart problem- how would you fix it? The only way I can see would be to shorten that little undercart wing.

Or, if that wing is the correct relative size, extend the wheel struts to get the correct visual.

The underwing is too wide. It was the same with the Albatros. Next bipe I do I will watch for it. I could remove and fix this one but I am just ready to move on.
