I'm going to build the 6 small bombs and see how they look attached to the pylons . Definitely not doing those skinny rockets .

Exclamation 115 kg bombs

Here are the optional small bombs. I decided to build 3 of them to compare to the 450 kg bigger bombs normally shown in photos of the Ouragan.

the build of those smaller ones is identical to the large one, so that by itself is not a differentiator.

Here is the 115 kg version

and the 450 kg one

compare the two versions side by side

Hey Isaac

Why do you have doubts about the bombs?

If I'm not mistaken, it's impossible to assemble three 450kg bombs on each wing......115 kg yes.

Yoav

I think you misunderstood me. The choice is one 450 kg bomb or three 115 kg bombs. Not three 450's. I know that the plane is not capable of carrying three 450's on each wing.

I will show pictures soon.

Question Bomb options on pylons

Here are the three smaller 115 kg bombs one each on each pylon ( they are temporarily pinned )
IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_7031.jpgIAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_7033.jpgIAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_7040.jpg
IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_7041.jpg

and the single 450 kg on the other wing center pylon for comparison.
IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_7034.jpg
IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_7037.jpgIAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_7038.jpgIAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_7039.jpgIAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_7050.jpg

and here the two options ( one configuration per wing )
IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_7035.jpg

NOTE
The aircraft would carry either a total of two 450 kg bombs ( one under each wing in the center pylon ) or three smaller 115 kg under each pylon ( a total of six ), but not a mix of the bombs.

Exclamation Bomb options with the aircraft-comparison

Here are the completed options. One option per wing shown.
IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_7042.jpgIAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_7043.jpg smaller 115 kg

IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_7044.jpg large 450 kg

IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_7045.jpg head on view

Again, the plane would carry either the two larger 450 kg ( one under each wing ) or the six smaller ones on each of the 6 pylons.

More pics soon

I would go for the six bomb option. The 450 just looks a little unbalanced.....

Cool Compare with the Answer kit

Here are some pics of the Ouragan by the Polish company Answer ( 1/33 scale ). I built that one a few years ago.

A little more work before it is finished.
