The F-15 will be the last of your models I will build due to its size . And it may be more complex than your Ouragan , but so far , your F-16 Looks like it will need experienced builders . After the Ouragan, I will choose the Tzukit to build next , but may not be right away. I prefer the 6 day war colored version of the Fouga Magister with rockets . I thank you for your great designs Isaac

canopy
Here is the vacuformed canopy and the framing. I decided to build it with the canopy closed this time.
and the cockpit last minute minor details dry fit first and glued on. Only correction I need to do later is to better match the rear frame and the fairing. Isaac

Open or closed- doesn't matter. Can still see everything under that beautifully formed canopy. Top job.

Tip tanks
Early jets were notoriously short range aircraft. Primarily because the base design which was clean aircraft was to deliver the fastest speed. However, this was always a short sighted approach and all aircraft required external fuel tanks. In the case of the Ouragan as well as the first jets like the P-80 or the Navy's FJ-1 Fury, they hard mounted the fuel tanks to the wing tips. The primary aerodynamic reason was that the tip tanks acted as a fence to prevent the air from the lower wing surface to roll over the tip to the top and thus causing drag and loss of lift. Early Lear jets also subscribed to this design concept.
anyhow, here are the tip tanks my only modification was to add metal pins in the wing tips to position and support the tanks in place while the glue dries now dry fit the tank and glue in place. at this point all my work on this model is on hold while I prepare for our paper model convention this Saturday in Dayton Ohio. http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/628094-post81.html I will build the rest of the details and the armament later on. status pics coming up Isaac

Excellent job Isaac. It has come "alive" now!
Did you make the canopy yourself? And enjoy the convention....

Guys
I was very fortunate in getting canopies for Yoav's models from the master himself. I still have a canopy for an F-15 and the Fouga, so I have to build those as well. Isaac
