Smile Going forward

Now add the fuselage section that will house the cockpit

The opening sides are folded inward for now.

The nose section is next. Decisions, decisions, decisions......

Question Nose section- Shark mouth or not?

As Yoav stated to me, no tri colored camouflaged Ouragan sported the shark mouth nose art. So to be authentic, it should be without that mouth if the model is built with the landing gear.

So I must decide. Shark mouth (to be artistic) or not? Hmmmmmmmm.....
IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_6692.jpg

I'll have to think about it.

Glad we spoke and now you can build many great looking jets that Yoav designed.

Remember, all the files are in .JPEG format and the software used to print must print each page at 100% or else the parts will fit to page and not match.

Have fun

Cool Shark nose

In reality, there was no question in my mind but to build the colorful version with the shark nose.

So here it is:
IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_6692.jpg

After cutting the fuselage sections for the nose;
cut out the landing gear doors and make scrap copies. Those will be glued on. When assembled, they are cut out. There purpose is only for assembly.
IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_6693.jpg

glue the gear door scraps on.
IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_6694.jpgIAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_6696.jpg

add the nose frame. The inlet will slip in place later

IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_6699.jpgIAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_6700.jpgIAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_6702.jpg

add the disk assisting disk to keep the inlet round ( it is not glued )
IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_6704.jpg

here is the splitter
IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_6703.jpgIAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_6706.jpg

the assembly

and insert into the inlet from the front.
IAF Dassault Ouragan- Yoav version-img_6709.jpg
