Now comes my dilemma. What external load should I attach to the wings?

I am not really big on those little rockets.

This load?

I saw pictures of this plastic model. It shows 6 pylons with small bombs on it. I like it. I think I will build those and see how it looks.

Have a look here - there is a basic chart to download with some weapon options.

Kevin

Can you take a screen shot of the page? I don't download files or documents as a rule

Thanks

Isaac

Issac - don't worry about the PDF.

When I first saw it I just glanced at it and it looked useful. I have just downloaded it and had another look and it is a summary page for the using the Ouragan for wargaming! So it is not useful.

Sorry...

I have searched quite extensively and cannot really find anything on the weapon loads used. Plenty for other aircraft, but not much for the Ouragan. Will have another look though.

The model looks great!!

I recommend that you place external weapons, such as the IAF:
In each wing, a pair of T-10 rockets, one on top of the other on either side of a 450-kilogram bomb.
See the photos I attach.
I do not have more clear pictures of the rockets.....

Thank you , I did see this version, but hoped to see all bombs on 6 pylons.

I love the first picture you attached showing so many bombs and rockets.... Like it could carry all?

Thanks again

isaac,
I do not know if the plane was capable of carrying all the weapons that were presented.
At times, they would put armaments that were not on the plane.
For example: Photographed the Mirage with T-10 rockets....

Here are a few more pictures:

Yaron

I think that by the time the Ouragan was painted in the tri colored scheme ( gingi) , those loose rockets were useless. So I like the 6 regular pylons that you see in your pictures. However to be realistic, maybe only attach the two 450 kg bombs without rockets .

Smile External load - 450 kg version

I decided to have 6 pylons added to this model. Three under each wing arranged as shown in the photos that Yaron showed in the previous posts.

Here are the pylons. Heavy ( 2 each )

and add the light pylons ( 4 each )
