Avro Anson Mk1 by yours truely
Well after Deckape posted build thread on my Envoy, i thought I'd do one on the Anson...
Eyes, hands and back permitting ( they ain't what they used to be ) here we go.... Fuselage built, tabs cut off and glued inside for a flush fit. Using thicker card than usual (190gsm) Wing and tail feathers glued and added, note wing has been cropped ready for display base, you'll see if i get to finish it Port engine next, not glued to wing yet as I'm struggling with the cowl blisters a few at a time as my fingers stop working after a while and i get the dropsies

No need to rush Gary. Many of us understand our bodies ain't what they used to be.
Those who don't understand soon will. It'll be here before you know it. Looking very good btw.

For someone with limited dexterity Gary you sure do a nice job on building your own design.
I've downloaded and printed a bunch of your kindly donated stuff off this site and after completing my current project will start work on a series of them. 1/100 is my preferred scale and I'll be doing your 1/144 models as designed, but would you be in any way offended if I did others in 1/100 and posted them on here? Thank you and kind regards, Garry G.

Every one of your designs are incredible. I know I speak for everyone when I say thanks, for all your hard work. Now get back to building. |
