Fiesler Fi-167 (Marek, 1/33rd Scale) DONE!

All,

After some more touch up, weathering, rigging, chipping and overall assembly (which went great!), she's done. I must say, it's a true beast and looks very imposing sitting around. It's so big, that getting good pictures is difficult so sorry about that.

On to the shots:

It looks REALLY COOL with that massive torpedo slung under there. Turned out about as I had hoped.

Now I just have to find a place to put it!

Thanks for looking and all the encouragement.
Dan

Dan, you can keep it my place.

Struggling here think of another word- SPECTACULAR is the one that springs to mind first, so that'll do nicely.
The finish, the spot-on choice of colors, the perfect insignia and markings, the weathering- could go on ad nauseam. Just SPECTACULAR.

In admiration and awe, Garry G.

Yeah man, right on!
You did a great job on the seams between fuselage sections. The paint job is impressive also.

Dan

Came out looking great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many, many years ago, I tried this technique, but could not get the panel lines to show up.

Your technique looks realistic ( and I can see you have done a few plastic models as well to get this paint job to look good ).

Did you do any pre-shading before the full painting?

Isaac

Well, I think about everything's been said already so I'll just leave now. Just kidding! You have really outdone yourself on this one Dan. I agree with the comments about the paint job and the panel lines. I like the detail too. So, what's next on the agenda?
