OMG! I know some Fox Four pilots who probably still flash on something just like that picture.
I have a friend Hank K. who drove a "Fast Mover" up North for quite a few missions. He never tangled with these lil' guys directly but I still remember him talking about how they would get on their channel and taunt the daylights out of them. He always says that he sure wishes he had been flying the day Jane Fondle was perched on her AA gun in downtown Hanoi. To this day he has a mini bottle of scotch on his mantle waiting to toast the day she gets her final Oscar. Sorry my man to have gotten off in the weeds. Your Fresco and this pic is really outstanding. MS

GAZ-69 North Vietnamese Army
Recently I had a thought concerning something additional to my Fresco. So, I decided to look for a ground vehicle. It's not easy to find anything suitable but this time it was lucky for me. I found some free models in 1/100 on minimodel.cz. Thankfully there was a GAZ-69 in all versions. Again I had to do a recolor to turn it into NVA vehicle(dark green and yellow stars in the red circles markings).
My toughest enemy so far. It was really difficult to repaint(designed old fashioned way) and build but came out nicely, I think. GAZ-69 in 1/100 is really small, slightly bigger than the coin. I'll never forget those tiny fenders and headlights. Model is in 60% unchanged, 40% is a scratch(underbody, wheels, front bumper).

Nice job on the GAZ-69 Kacper. I really thought the MiG would have been a good bit larger than the GAZ-69. Shows how wrong my aircraft knowledge is in this case.

Neat work on GAZ Kacper- I'm willing to bet you're little paper lightweight wouldn't set off an Igloo White sensor on the HCM Trail!!
