Musicman's Botanical Bulldog

Here is my take on Musicman's (aka Gary) recent Arbor Day recolor of the Fiddlers Green Hall Bulldog Racer that he kindly provided for us via the F.G. site free of charge.

I did mine in my fave 1/100 scale. A few little mods (wheels, engine crankcase cover) but otherwise as designed.

The hardest part was photographing; it's small, almost insect-like appearance saw me shooing off three hungry magpies and an amorous grasshopper.

Hope you like, Gary. And thanks again mate.

Regards, Garry G.

I am sure Gary will be pleased to see this build!

Nicely done - and I did not realize it was so small.

I think as designed it's about 1/50 or so. I reduced it to 1/100.

Looks good at your size - I prefer smaller models generally and also reduce mine - depending on what type of model they are.

That looks really good. Nice clean job on the build, and a very eye catching recolor by Gary.

Thanks for kind comments people.

Like other racers, the Bulldog was small - 26' wingspan. That's only 3'' in 1/100! Others were even smaller. The Crosby CR-3 was 16'.
