I'm not so sure about this dirty build thang. IMHO any time you put aside for modelling should see you giving 100% on each project. Sure, I've had my frustrations (lots of 'em!) but to me having to build a second version of a model because I only half detailed the first one (that otherwise turned out pretty good) would be more frustrating.

BUT, like I said, MHO. Or, as they say in the classics: diff'rent strokes fa diff'rent folks.

I agree with Vinalssergio.
Where is the "dirt"?

And I agree with Murph about the parts breaking off. Yet I do build them most of the time.
Must be masochism, I guess

I would not have been able to do a 100% effoirt. When i have the shaakey hands it really is my hole body and i get thing all wenkled and turnen up and not aliagned in right places
For me the dirrty build is something to instead of sitting around and mopping about my problem. And is just something that i know i can rebuild another day.

I im not yelling pr anything just pointing out why some of need to do dirty builds

If I lived that close to Jack Daniel's home I damn sure wouldn't be wasting my time building paper aerioplanes!! Just fight it every day my friend. It only wins when you give up.

I use my "dirty" builds as a form of therapy... I kind of just black out and build a kit with as little brain power as possible. I print them on whatever paper/cardstock I have lying around and go to town on it. I disregard any build instructions and put the thing together based on how I feel in no particular order. amazingly 75% of the time they turn out to be decent builds but 100% of the time I give them to my kids to play with and they never survive more than a day or two.

I also use paper modelling as a therapy for my physical problems.
So, keep it up doing the "dirty" builds
B

Falco was just a little more rapid than I to say approximately the same

A fabulous hobby, I think many of us use it as therapy for different reasons. And it works wonders
