I upsized that particular model to 1/20 as a mock up for a RC model -- enjoying the process. The shape looks good, but the fuselage panel lines and vent details aren't too accurate -- a factor highlighted by my being too close to the marvelous example at the Naval Museum in Pensacola. What is your technique for joining fuselage sections (butt joins, strips, etc)? Gene K |

Felix comes together..
At my therapy session today the Doc announced that I have been diagnosed with a fatal disease “Centum itis”. (Thank you Google Translate) It is a rare disease first diagnosed a few years ago in Brasil where an otherwise sane man started building teeny tiny paper aerioplanes. To date this man has built upwards of 300 of these lil’ devils. The disease spread over the globe and now infects places as widespread as the Ukraine, Thailand, Indonesia and even Australia. Interpol is now searching for the source of this disease. It seems that it has obtained a particularly strong foothold in Belgium of all places where there is a “pusher” who gets people hooked on his addiction by offering low priced “kits” tainted with the disease. There is word on the street that there are sufferers in Germany and other parts of eastern Europe. A particularly virulent strain has been identified in Texas where a crazy young fella builds these paper thingys to 1:144th scale. His disease is identified as “ Orm itis quadraginta quattuor”. Apparently there is no cure for this disease. My family is supportive (mainly because I can fix their f’ing ‘puters). Perhaps someday there may be a cure but until then I fear the disease will continue to spread until it engulfs the entire world. If you are the praying sort (I am the preying sort) get on yer knees and give it all you got.... A bit more progress. I told myself today after my therapy that I would get Felix together come hell or high water (I live in Florida so guess which one will prolly get me?)

I think we should ask the young Brazilian if that elixir we saw him sharing with friends is some kind of medicine for the cure or an enhancer for the disease. I am inclined for this last

Actually there's a number of cures out there. They have code names like '1/50', '1/33' etc. My 'pusher' in Belgium said to ignore 'em cos he reckons they don't work. Should I believe him?
