WAK Ansaldo A.1 Balilla (1/33rd)

All,

Here is the next victim. I have the WAK kit and also a rendition sent to me by Matt77 for free since I think the markings have already been marketed. I'm not sure which one I'll do...or maybe both and compare!

I'll hopefully start cutting and gluing tomorrow. My outlaws are coming in to see my daughter graduate from college so there won't be much time to model once they get here!!

Cheers...Dan

Was wondering when you'd start another model Dan. I vote for doing both and comparing them. Looking forward to a great build no matter if you do one or both!

What's to apologize for? Nice-looking Dolphin btw! You should post it in Other Things We Make & Do (or is it Do and Make? Drat! I never can remember which). Anyway you should post it there so we can all enjoy the fruits of your labor.

The Italian version has tip-top markings and camouflage!
Well, the Polish version would make an eye-catching model, too…

Hi Kevin...

It is from a company called Wingnut Wings or WNW. It's 1/32nd and they have lots of really neat models. They basically snap together and the challenge is in the painting.

Of course, you could make a really neat paper model of the Dolphin for $7 US!!!!

Thanks for the comment.

Thanks, Elliot. I'll post it over in the other things we do...more appropriate too.

Ricardo: I've seen the original WAK version done beautifully! I hope mine is as nice. Matt77's recolor is really amazing in terms of textures too.

YOAV: Your renderings are so neat...you should consider some WWI and II subjects? Just saying... I need to make one of your jets too.

Cheers to all,
Dan

I'm eagerly awaiting which ever build you do as I know it will be excellent.

hi Dan

After I finish with my jet project, I plan to build 3 propeller planes that served in the Israeli Air Force.

A little patience.

take care
