I've just checked the edges and they're maximally pressed. We just have to wait for the retouch.
Thinning the edges of the paper is not a product of the glue.
The edges must be thinned before any glue is applied.
It is simply the card is to thick when you put two edges together.
Especially at scales of 1/100 and less.

Good morning, folks!
Sun came out, so it's a good time to take a daylight photo of the Kiwi.



I have no idea how it is possible that currently there's a 38°C here in the northeastern Poland. Awful weather.

It was 122 degrees Fahrenheit in Odessa, TX yesterday - so I can commiserate with you on that.
