Superb build! Congratulations!
I miss a lot this one, as my copy was crushed down while stored. I hope to build it anew someday soon.

Regards.

Thread from silk-screen cut-offs. My wife used to work in a screen-printing shop back in the eighties. I picked her up from work one day and collected a bunch of off-cuts from the shop floor- still have more than I'll probably ever need.

Silk screen mesh is very very sturdy, I know out of experience. Is a single thread also still stiff and 'solid"? I only have tried stuff like that with ordinary sewing thread and that becomes fluffy and hairy when you use it.

How do you rig the thread through the struts and wings?

Just curious because I would like to be able to do stuff like that too. And also in that scale.
Could you please be so kind and make a tutorial on this one day?
