Your rigging is really the bee's knees my best friend. Coupla questions:
They're nice and taught- are the bristles like that naturally? What do you glue them on with? Who's that wierdo in the last photo?
Enquiring minds....

Great idea for the rigging 😸😸😸 Great looking model.
Is that the lightbulb of inspiration above the 'mad scientist's' head ?

Vin:

LOL! Yep use it anytime. Twice a year I go to church so the minister can say "OK Kids if you aren't good this is what will happen to you!"

GG:

No the bristles aren't limp. I know you prolly have trouble with yer limp bristles but mine are jist fine. I just use Aleenes. It dries clear. I glue them a little long and then take a very sharp #11 and trim them

gotham

Yep. Inspiration is somewhere in there. Sometimes I have a heck of a time finding it.

Should finish up today but I have a big bunch of life to take care fo first

Max Immelmann's ride. Fokker Eindekker free kit in 1/100 from Nobi

So she is finally done. Lot’s of life interruptions, some good, some bad and one in particular that was just wonderful. Happy with how this turned out. Rigging is my now standby paint brush bristles colored with a Sharpie. Had to do the prop twice because of the “carpet monster”.

She now takes pride of place on my display shelf.

For anyone who wants to see the whole thing here is a Google Photos link:

For anyone out there that is crazy enough to attempt this here is the link to the free kit:

Impressive work on this Fokker. Now I'll be following your progress on Val.
Oh, and thanks for the file with Eindecker. I couldn't find it.

Nah... How would it look?

I'm working now on L2D3 "Tabby", japanese license-built version of DC-3 with some differences.

Hmmm ... despite how good your Eindecker is, I lean toward the stunning P-26.
