Me too, it is progressing very nice.
BTW, the first picture you posted shows a great variety of camouflage. Nice addition to the "acervo".

Yes, it looks very good, even the annoying wheel covers look great. I'm glad for your recovery.

Many thanks for the compliments!
And a small pic from today, the detachable reservoir. notice that I left the reinforcing structure out, it's simply too slim to provide any strengthening. Those who intend to build this model into 1/33 should take this into account, because it will certainly be useful at this scale.
Regards!

Great work. Right now it looks like one of Criquet's Dewoitines

I have a tone of Marek kits and they all give me nightmares... I have yet to attempt to build any of them. I am saving them for when I master the art of being patient and meticulous. You on ten other hand are doing a wonderful job. I learned a lot about building Marek kits from this thread that I will definitely use one day.

You mean this beauty? I'll certainly add it to my collection as soon as I'm able to improve my recoloring abilities or somebody takes the burden for himself...

@ Falco, give Marek a chance, I think that, except for Halinski, most designers have accustomed us to expect minor mishaps; but this one from Marek has very, very few of them.

And the big day came, the upper wing is in place and everything went in a very swift way. As the end is very close now, I'll post some pic of the process, but the final result will wait until its dèbutante prom

The wing struts were done according to the kit instructions, but for the cabane struts I discarded the internal wire, and instead i sandwiched an extra piece of card.
Then I glued all the struts to the upper wing; all the anchorage points for the struts are clearly marked, both in the wings and in the fuselage.
before the glue dried completely, I glued the wing struts (only) to the lower wing - and this is indeed the more dread-some part of the busyness, with one strut going out when you try to fit the next one..
Finally, when the wing struts are all in place, and the glue in the cabane struts is about to become completely dry, glue them in place!

Regards!
