PacificWind's Lim-2 1/100

Kacper (PacificWind) recently gave us three re-paints (and re-size) on variants of the Scissors & Planes MiG-15. A UTI 2 seat trainer, bis fighter and this one: Polish Lim-2.
These are there for free in the downloads section of this site.
These are simple models with few parts and are quick and easy to build. And because of this they are fun and a good diversion when you want a break from the more serious and complex models.
They are designed as wheels up 'in flight' models and as such don't come with undercart parts. I got those parts for this model from another of PacificWind's re-paints: his Der Kampfflieger NVAF MiG-17 which is also downloadable for nix. Not exactly 100% accurate I know, but close enough for this build.
I also added a tailpipe to fill the void at the rear and a little aerial near the canopy.
I REALLY enjoyed knocking this one together. Even with my modifications it still was completed with only a few hours of stress-free building.
Thanks Kacper! And thanks Bruno and Roman too!

Next project will be another Musicman commemorative model.

Thanks Don, Kacper and Sergio. Not sure where the inspiration for using the Fresco gear came from. Even pinheads like me have the occasional brainwave I guess!!
