I hear ya, bro!

"Long story short"...

Back in the day we used to say "anyways", and jump to the end of the narrative.

How about we do this instead?

We write all our posts, comments, replies in proper and simple English.
This is to help those friends of ours who might not be as skilled in conversational English, and might use an online translator to help with their enjoyment of the forum and ultimately the hobby.

This way there will be no confusion or issues when the translator comes across slang or colloquial language.

This will help all of us in the long run, no confusion, no misunderstandings, no international incidents.

And I would prefer this to go into effect immediately

Rick

Many times in the post that the translator reproduces in my language phrases or words appear that I can not understand. So, when I publish I have to use the translator, paste the text and see a preview, because note that it does not translate exactly my text and I have to go back and change some words. I think this produces confusions and misunderstandings

Simple English? That's the only kind us antipodean pinheads understand.

Maybe we should consider only monosyllables and grunts

Or an image only forum

Or better yet, keep things as they have been for years
