1/100 L2D3 "Tabby" (S&P, PacificWind's Recolors)

It's finally here!

First paper model of the L2D3 "Tabby" in 1/100. Thanks to Bruno for giving us great free models, DC-3 and C-47 which were base for my project.
This time it was not only recoloring but also redesigning.
What was changed/added?
- cockpit and windows
- cargo doors and front door
- propeller spinners
- radiators
- antenna
- full landing gear option

I hope I didn't forget about anything else. You'll see on the pictures.

Keep in mind that the model requires some scratch building!(If you want to make it better, of course

)
Things to make from scratch:
- landing gear(optional)
- exhausts
- remaining antennas(main antenna is on the sheet)

I think that's all...

I'll build "in-flight" version. Landing gear could be too difficult.

Wow, that was fast Kacper, a few hours ago you were looking for information and now you have it resolved. I think we should name you "the flash" for your speed. It looks great, another great job.

LOL I saw "Tabby" and I said to myself... this models definitely has tabs.

MA-A-ATE! Looks from here like your shade of IJN green is spot on too Kacper. You certainly know your stuff.

Kacper you are a repainting machine. Didn't you start on this like just a day or so ago? You build quickly too. 'Course you don't have to do things like drive 45 mins each way to pick up a "free" barn cat that screams all the way home....

Iconic Japanese bottle green
I had to print this L2D3 in "best quality" to achieve this color on paper. In "normal quality" on my printer it came out dark olive green. When you open it on PDF it's bottle green.

4 days ago to be exact... In my opinion it would be impossible to turn DC-3 and C-47 into L2D3 in one day or two.

Started with wings. I don't know yet but maybe I'll be forced to make internal structures for wings through fuselage. That's why the wings are first step. I have to check their stiffness. The first one came out pretty good , I think. It's a bigger kind of aircraft and much more difficult model in this scale but after success with Il-28, I'm optimistic.
