Any modeler worth his salt owes his success to the tools his wife doesn't know he bought. Had to pull out almost all the stops for this monosoupape. (No Rata that is not a flavor by Campbells soup). Still need to add the exhausts and the single pushrod from which this lil' guy gets its name. After 9 cylinders I am glad I am not building a B-36 with 6 36 cylinder "corncob" engines.

While digging around for tools my little 1:100 friend turned up to check my progress. He had some admonishment for the scale I have chosen for this bird but I reassured him this is just temporary.

The wings are also almost done. Will have to mount the lower wings carefully.
