Ha Ha GK. We will need to help Rata with that. Math is not his strong suit!

Bring it on Gene! What I lack in strength I make up for in denial.

Great fuselage Michael I like a lot and curious to see build in 1/100 scale... Reduction for 1/33 is not easy...

I know Michael has great hands, but I think that will be one challenging Teeny Tiny project, especially given his penchant for details.

Just as a curiosity , I downsized a portion of the graphics and assembled a wheel (cheated with an O-Ring)

Nieuport 11 in 1:33 AND 1:100-michaels-one-hundreth-copy-.jpg

You'll need a real small paintbrush for the rigging, Michael.

GK,

I just LOVE a challenge. Please check your texts. There is something I just cannot figure out on the wing framework.

This is what I am talking about with the Google translation. I thought the Marek P-26 and der Kampfflieger's Nieuport 28 was complicated.

Another WIP report. Fuselage is done for the main part. Of course the engine and cowling are also a major chunk.

Made some good progress on the wings. The upper wing is 90% done. Just needs the ailerons and some trim. The lower wing is like the upper wing --- way too complex to me. I have always liked the extended trailing edges that you fold over and glue to the other wing surface. This designer didn’t want to do it that way but I went ahead and added these in. In the smaller kits I just stuff paper in the wings to help keep their shape but with this I will go ahead and do it as the designer suggests.

One tip I got from Gene K here on the forum is excellent. I folded the top wing until it just had a groove. Then I took a Q-Tip dampened with my bodily fluids and ran it down the groove. Viola!! The wing folded neatly and cleanly about 12 seconds later. Thans Gene!

If I ever build another kit by this designer it will go much faster. I do have his Sopwith Pup which is another iconic WWI aircraft so stay tuned.

Just worked out why you're having problems bloke. You're looking at the instructions sideways.

Any more help you need just ask buddy.
