Thai Paperwork Yak-1b 1/100

This is my finished build of the Yak-1b offered by Thai Paperwork No. 128 in scale 1/100.

Information on the title sheet reads "Yakolev Yak-1b White 5 of Capt. Pavel Maximovich Chuvilev, August 1943"

Man, them things is small. My eyes and fingers got a work out putting it together. Very crude looking in the final shape. I need more practice in 1/100 construction.

I noticed after finishing that part 8, the one around the front of the vertical stabilizer, seems to be the wrong color. I checked the pdf in three different readers and it is on the page in the wrong color. Just more camo.

I did not realize just how small 1/100 is:

Just kidding.

Lots of room on the display shelf for models this small.

Thanks for looking in and the encouragement.
I was checking my archives and saw that one along with a few others at that scale and decided to give it a try since, as Don wrote, there are a lot of 1/100 going around now.

Only one part was lost, launched into the æther when it was being removed from the sheet using the tip of the knife.

Great to see another of Nobi's little jewels. You did a great job on the aerioplane and the giant coin.

A good model to start with and welcome to 1/100! I hope you become as addicted as I am. The choice of subjects in this scale is seemingly endless; mostly because of that Vanhecke person.

As for your lost part; I reckon when we finally get to heaven, St.Peter presents with us with a bag with that and all the other parts we've dropped and lost over the years.

LONG LIVE 1/100!
