We flew Wellingtons in RAAF squadrons as part of the RAF out of UK but we had B-24J's in RAAF service in northern bases here used in ops against Japanese targets in New Guinea and Borneo etc.

I'll definitely make some B-24s, B-17s and Wellingtons in the future.

Now I can offer you a RAAF C-47, of course from Pacific theater. Anyone's interested in this subject?

BTW, you can give me some other suggestions for DC-3/C-47. Only military ones from WWII.

We need DB here. Somewhere in the deep dark recesses of my brain there is an image of a C-47 in CBI with the forward sweeping stripes that were carried on some P-51's there. Also I seem to recall a transport ship with nose markings used to ferry Gen. Stillwell. (when he wasn't too damned stubborn to walk)

Maybe. I thought the one I saw had white stripes on the upper surfaces. It may have been some navigation leader for long flights by P-51's

That RAAF C-47 should be ready before 25th July.

I'll have a lot of fun doing it. Pacific War subjects, especially Kiwi, Australian and Japanese are my favorites.

Yes. That is the one! I think it was some sort of navigation lead ship. Somewhere there is one with nose art that was Gen. Stillwell's (or maybe Wavell).
