Worst thing Michael is that I'm working now on this Chinese 75N. It's already painted in beautiful olive drab color and has bare metal underside. I can't wait to finish recoloring and then print it. If I don't get this 1 last demand, you'll see it only on my pictures...

I know, I'm probably cruel right now but I hope you forgive me.

So that means there is a chance for RAF Curtiss Mohawk used in India/Burma theater of operations? Number of B-24s and Vickers Wellingtons were used there as well.

I could make some Mohawks, but first find someone who can redesign NOBI's 75N into that Mohawk.

Only external difference visiblle in this scale will be undercarriage. I'll try doing conversion and send you the result.

There is nothing to forgive and you know that Kacper. You must remember that I am the Forum "weird Uncle" so don't listen to much of anything I say.

Butelczynski, I'll be waiting for your results. You'll post them here in the thread or you'll send them to my email?

Michael, fact is that you gave me a wonderful idea. And that's important.
Chinese Hawk is ready. If I get one last demand, I'll release it tomorrow as a first "August 2018" recolor. (of course it will be switched with B-57B).
Here's the cover. Looks tasty?

It has no numbers or fuselage insignia?

As I understand it the "Chrome" Hawk was a presentation a/c to Gen. Chennault from the Chinese head of the country at that time. His name escapes me right now.

Chiang Kai-shek.

Like I said before, my Hawk is a captured one. I haven't found any pictures or schemes for this recolor. It's just my vision, based on other photos from the era and my knowledge.

EDIT:
Here's the picture of the ROCAF's captured A6M Zero. It has only roundels and small serial number on vertical stabilizer. I can add similar serial and should be fine.

If my memory serves me well ROCAF fighters painted/marked in China didn't have fuselage roundels as a rule. Those that have it were painted on aircraft in US and shipped with them .
Bombers had somewhat different rules afaik, but to what extend I don't know.

I never heard of chromed, presentation aircraft for anyone .Lots to learn

See MS's post #18 on this thread. For 'chromed' read 'highly polished'.

And Kacper, thanks again for giving us your wonderful modifications to Nobi's wonderful art. All of us here REALLY appreciate it.
