Michael I agree as I look at models, I did use monofilament and silver sharpie for motorcycle spokes and really looked better than I thought it might

I used to get my .005 & .008 at smallparts.com. Then Amazon (for some strange reason) bought that company. You can find it on Amazon but it is often sold out. Amazon will email you when it becomes available. Good luck and buy plenty. It is even better than the brush bristles.

A little time this week to finish up on the engine for the most part, and working on a way to do the curved tubes of the exhaust, always a challenge in paper to make a curved tube...probably most often seen in motorcycle models

Thanks Garry is a fun project but nice to get some motivation here from everyone, I'm not usually working on a plane this long, and have those pesky Grumman gear to do yet ha
Today working on the lower wing, fairings and structure for the ailerons..
