Well I have to say the changes in the markings looks better, and have caught up and built the wing structure and also took a bit of time scoring the top wing lines from the inside of the wing, can slightly see this in the underside pic. Now the completed wing, it feels solid too.

Thanks Mike. I'm afraid another more bothersome error has shown up so as design/ scratch building goes, 1 step forward one step back....was a mistake to put too much faith in the f3f model wings significant differences I should have picked up on. Well, thankfully it's not a race.. Am planning some improvements and even with these things I still can see the finish line approaching, although some way off still ( it's the journey not the destination right?)

Here's the F3F I'm referring to, was fun but realized a couple things on this one, that alot of work would be needed to bring it to the standard of a modern model, and since would be redoing everything why not build a Duck? Also I needed another copy of the Modelik model to redo the Barrel, and I couldn't find one. If anyone has one they are ok to part with ...

Well the wing redo looks better the ailerons were unacceptably wrong. I will be done rebuilding it and will reuse the structure parts so be caught up shortly. Some may wonder why all this effort for the top wing but from my way of thinking it is the most visible part of a biplane model so hopefully will be okay now. Looking forward to seeing it on the plane should be colorful ..

Working on this waterbird, put on the forward part of the canopy as would be a bit difficult to put on under the top wing, glued on now by the outer struts about as far as can get for now.. not very good pics, poor lighting so flash makes some things hard to see, especially colors

Birder,

As the Brits say "Absolutely Brilliant". Your work is so very clean and neat.
