Thanks, Tony! I found some info about the torpedos, they seems to be LT I A1 F5b, the most used by the Luftwaffe. I hope Bruno has them, if not, I'll have to make them from scratch.
The rear box was made from wood and was designed to break once it sumerged and started the run

Doesn't, but I've have almost made mine. Maybe some designer will draw the nose and the cone tail parts?
If not, I'll do them "by hand" after printing this page.
Thanks anyway

Starting the cardboard reinforcements and the carving of the panels to give more realism to the model.
The Ju-88A Torp models that used the selected camouflage were from the A-4 and A-17 variants. I'm going to make the A-4, as each one had small differences in wingtips, tail/rudder assembly and so on.
You must consider that it was wartime, and many times the changes were made in the factory "on the fly" or made by the squadron mechanics with "field kids". So the best solution is to stick to the best picture or drawing available.

This weekend assembled the tail and started one of the torpedoes.
I was imagining a lot of options about the rounded front of the torpedo, at last, I just used small triangles glued togheter, leaving a hole where the detonator will be.
The gunmetal color is one of my favourites, it looks very realistic.

This weekend I finished the body of the torpedo, cut the tail parts, and reinforced all the internal pieces of the bomber.
Remember that I like to paint the model, so the white zones on the torpedos will be covered later.

This weekend I finished the torpedos. Better said, I finished the naval torpedos. The wood extensions that break once in the water won't be glued until the Ju-88 is finished.
That's because I can't find anymore in Venezuela the plastic glue I would have used to this pieces, so I must conform with the white, water soluble one.
Anyway, if you want to do some realistic axis torpedoes, they had 2 counterrotative propellers, front one turning clockwise and rear one counterclockwise, seen from behind. Each propeller had four blades.

Just assembled the elevators, and painted the tail. Or, better said, started to paint the tail. The styling of the pieces is already made, and can be seen when the angle of the light is good.
Now comes the svastica, and the waves.

Just making a test of the waves using the stabilizers.
Not happy with the results, but it's partially fault of my favourite brush that broke.
Testing too the placement of the swastika. Remember that it's forbiden in Germany and Italy, so many models don't display it.
