Thanks!
The windshield was made with acetate. Usually I glue it with plastic glue, but this one I had to use water glue, and I'm sure that it's going to get lost in a few weeks.
About artesanal, that's because I'm using plastic model techniques to make the model.
I rescale the model to 1/72 scale. This one is 8.51 long x 12.5cm width.
Then, some of them I print in black and white. I do some investigation, and reinforce, add or remove parts depending the specific plane that I'll do, and use Testors or Humbrol plastic paint to finish the model. Some weathering is included, too.
Some parts, like the guns and pitot, are made with stems of grass, and usually the landing gear is reinforced with electrical wire. And sometimes I include surplus plastic parts, like the Swordfish propeler.
Decals can be used, too. As long as you paint the base before aplying them, there is no problem.
So, as I said, it's more similar to the making of a plastic model than a paper one.
I included two plastic and two paper models here, for comparation purposes.

OK, I am interested in the I-16. I have been waiting and looking for one in Spanish Civil War markings for a while now. Is this model available anywhere.

I found this kit some time ago, the web page of L'Aeroteca is https://www.aeroteca.com/es/ so you can check this and many other things. There are two kits of the Spanish War, with 3 planes each, and four more of different themes ( https://www.aeroteca.com/es/250-recortables )
As I wrote, I rescaled the model and changed the paint scheme to reflect the plane based in the Castelló base.
