Thanks!
This weekend was good! The fuselage was made and painted! Well, except the nose, the subsection where the nose gear and the machine guns are placed is a difficult one. Now I must install the landing gear before anything else. You can see the differences between White 8 and White 3. I'm not happy with the dotting in the White 3, but that's how it was made in the real plane, so I need to hold my breath and keep painting. The number 3 is a decal. The planes are going to have half a gram of ballast, just that small amount is enought. Ah! And I started a Pierino Primaversi P-51, printed in b/w and hand repainted The Ju-52 is a derelict given to my son, now I'm deciding if I rebuilt it, use some parts for a paper model or just send it to the dump.

Another productive weekend!
The nose, landing gear, and a lot of paint were placed. I'm making tests with the brand of the plastic picture that I found, it's not the one I'm used to. As you can see, just the cockpit, wheels and part of the engines remain to do. I expected to use half a gram of ballast, but truly I needed a gram and half. Or a computer bolt of weight.

I was wishing to finish the Me-262 this weekend, but it didn't happen.
Doesn't matter, the landing gear doors are placed and the engines are being assembled.

This weekend I finished the Schwalbe, and the Stormbird need just the cockpit and some small actuators and antenae.
You can see the main difference between them: The Schwalbe used two Jumo004 engines (like the White 8) and the actual Stormbirds uses two GE J85 engines, smaller, lighter and more powerfull (White 3). You could imagine that it means that the present day plane is faster, but the wings weren't designed to hold at this speed, so the pilots know to never let it go.

The second Me-262, the Stormbird, was finished. I hope to publish the final pictures once I have a decent camera.
The next day I started my P-51, a rescaled, repainted model from Zio Prudenziati. It's going to have many plastic parts, like the glass and wheels. It's going to be interesting to compare the plastic model with the paper one, something like I did with my Fw-190a.

Ok, this post is a bit of everything.
First, a friend of mine saw a 1/72 plastic Nakajima G4M Betty that I had in my house waiting to assemble, and liked it. It came without "crystals". As it was a simple model, I gave it to her but used parts of a paper model to make the transparent parts. As I made them from acetate, I'm not sure it that counts as papermodeling, but the drawing came from a rescaled paper model, so... There is a picture taken while the construction stage. I'm waiting that she sends me a better picture of the finished plane. Second, I'm decided to make my own 1/72 Supermarine Stranraer. Here is part of the material that I'm going to use as reference. I'll publish here the parts as I draw them, but I'm not promising the full drawings or a finishing time. Third, I printed a 1/72 U-2 Senior Span, and a 1/700 Dupuy de Lome (ship) so again not sure the order of assembly.
