You mean rigging? I think this is correct term for it but I'm not sure. I make it using thread which is later strengthen with thin layer of PVA white glue and then I apply wood varnish on this rigging too. It's very similar procedure to rigging on ships. Here's continuation of my work:

Exactly that is what I was referring to. I use the same thing, glued thread, before, old times, I used to work in naval modeling in wood, I know the method well, thanks for the answer, I did not distinguish well when I saw the photos. I see that he was quite busy building all that, it looks very good.
