Hi there, that's an interesting choice for a build! The model looks great and will certainly give an excellent end result.
If you are interested in the G-1A as a model, you could also consider Paper Trade's version, scale 1:33, which has a full interior and details of the engines. Gerard's model as well as the Paper Trade version apparently both depict the "302". The actual aircraft was based at the Rotterdam aerodrome Waalhaven, a civil airfield also used for military purposes. On the first day of war, May 10th, 1940, a bomb exploded nearby the aircraft while it was still parked on the field, lifting it up to stand on its nose and with the tail booms damaged. So, 302 never really participated in the struggle. On the internet you can find a picture of this "event", herewith included. A sad ending of this particular machine I would say.

Good luck with your build!

Erik

Greetings, thank you very much Erik. Truly sad end, like so many others in the wars. Many thanks for the information.

Continuing with the G1-A, the double tail that holds the engines did not present any problems, everything adjusted very well. We continued making tabs, adjusting pieces and then inserting them to shape.
For the rings that cover the engine Gerard provides the tabs, but I can not place them without deforming the rings so I separated and pasted one by one and achieved a good result.
I have to put them in place, at the same time I will have to adjust the middle wing as I check that it does not fit well, and also see that the horizontal stabilizer is adjusting correctly. I will have to pay close attention to all this, I think these parts and their correct alignment will achieve a good final result or a disaster. It is a very beautiful plane and I do not want to spoil it. Thank you very much.

MS is right - first class work Sergio. Those engine cowl fronts are near perfect. A joy following this build.

Looking good, Sergio! I noticed that the model has red-white-blue roundels with orange core. Perhaps interesting to note that somewhere in 1938 the Dutch military authorities decided to remove the roundels and to replace them by large orange triangles with black rim and pointing downwards. This was done to prevent the Germans mistaking Dutch military aircraft for French or British, who used similar colors. In the years directly before WW2 The Netherlands tried to adhere a strict neutrality, similar to WW1 when the country stayed out of the fray. To no avail as history shows.

Regards,
Erik

Thank you very much everyone, they are very kind. Then by the comment of Erik this models represents 302 before the beginning of the war. In some book I read that at the beginning of the war both sides respected the neutrality of the Netherlands. Of course, it lasted only a few months that respect.
