Fairey Gannet from Gary Pilsworth

Hello friends,

from the Oriel publisher you can get the britisch carrier HMS Victorious. One of the placed planes were the "gannet". This type is not in the mentioned kit included.

So I used the 1:48 Kit from Gary Pilsworth scaled it down to 1:200 and try to build it. I used a wrong paper (too thick, 160g/m²), my printer refuse the black ink, some small parts are left and it is a too fast test-build.

But for shure the result promises more, if somebody builds more carefully, than I did. It can be really recognized as a "gannet" even in 1:200.

Hey, that looks really nice for just a testbuild. Good fit! Gary's models still are really good in small sizes. I once made his Super Guppy in 1/400 - with a scratch built interior. Looking forward seeing the final result.

True tiger but sometimes modellers just cannot resist the challenge.
