The biplane moment of truth. Especially in such a small size as this it is good to not have much caffeine in your system. 'Course I don't follow my own advice. Really happy with the top wing. That sucker is not going anywhere with that spar in it.!

Getting there my man. The color schemes of Al Williams' planes never gets old.
So he had this one, a Stinson and a F8F Bearcat, all in similar livery. Were there others?

I think he also had a biplane Waco? Not sure.

There are ailerons missing from this Gulfhawk. Nice bird.Reminds me a lot of I-153 by Polikarpov.

MichealS-are you still inserting foam in to wings?Nice effect and surface isn't collapsing at all.Good build.

Nag! Nag! Nag!

So I finished this and I think it really looks neat. Of course it could use a pilot (which I'm sure GK will point out very shortly). Sure looks better in flight than with those stubby gear down.

Nice kit as are all of Roman V's. The fit was fantastic even when shrunk down. Rigging is of course PBB's (paint brush bristles).

This kit is actually an homage to the old Monogram kit of the 60's. I have built 4 or 5 over the years as either the Gulfhawk II or the F3F-3.
