Excellent build Llaut, and thanks for the video too. I've long been a long distance admirer of these whacky racers, but to my knowledge such races never happened here in UK, and that video was the first time I've ever seen a Gee Bee in the air. Fantastic.

I've seen and collected card models of the Gee Bee R1, R2 and RZ, but never seen card models of the QED or R3 versions.

OK, afaik the R3 still only exists as an RC model, but it's a fantastic looking kite. Someone should build it.

JohnM, like yourself I'm a big fan of those Golden Age racers and the big way the US hosted competition and events for them.
That first pic you posted earlier is actually a Keith Rider R-3 which evolved into the Marcoux Bromberg Special (see second pic). The GeeBee QED you're thinking of is this one:
