Get a cotton ball and remove enough material to use and wrap it around a solid dowel.

Thanks for the ideas! I was toying around with something like that, but decided to ask just in case.

Glad to help out a bit. It usually does not hurt to ask.

Something I do is scrape some color from a pencil and mix it with pva glue then apply it to an area that needs it. The glue will dry with the color of the pencil. It helps in filling gaps that might occur sometimes and can be used to replicate welding beads like around the base of a cylinder that is welded to another part.

Are we going to get to see a video with those propellers spinning?

The PVA glue with pencil mix sounds an interesting idea, thanks for a hint, indeed. I think that it will work even better with watercolor pencils that I use for painting edges and will definitely try in my next build.
Especially, considering that it is a laserjet printed ))

That is very nice. It is always neat to see modifications like these.

You did a really nice job building and modifying this B-24 model. I like it!

Fiddlers Green was giving the nose section away for awhile. I have it at work, and depending on who is visiting it either has words or the topless artwork turned to face the room.

Which brings up an amusing story; a friend's father had built a model for a friend that had similar artwork on the nose. The available photos were too small to get a good image for a decal, so the father recreated the artwork with his girlfriend as model. That's right, my friend's mother was the topless model!
