Rata: A bit but if you use plenty it doesn't seem to shrink as much. In any case it is not a misshapen as yer mug!!!

Rick J. Thanks for the kind words. Tis was my 3rd stab at it and I think the canopy has taken as long as the rest of the build combined.

Finally finished my prototype Corsair. Jeff Orcutt started with Nobi’s excellent F4U and went all the way to make this little jewel!! Full interior. Folding wing option. A very nice prop and hub. I went ahead and did the clear canopy so as to show off all that great internal detail. Also posed cowl flaps open and finished her off with a very thin aerial.

For those who want to see the whole show here is the full build album:

Outstanding work! Corsairs are great subject. So many possibilities of camouflages and markings: USN, US Marines, Royal Navy, RNZAF(these are my favorite on Corsairs) and many more. One day I hope to recolor one into a Royal Navy camouflage.

Very nice pictures too, Michael.

Beautiful work yet again my friend. Nobi, Hawkman67 and yourself have captured the lines of this one nicely.
