Anyone know?

Does anyone know or can identify the type of airplane(s) used to make scaramanga's flying car?
I know the car is an AMC Matador.

I think the engine and main wings are from one aircraft and the twin tail booms are from a different aircraft.
The booms look like they could be from either a deHaviland or Focke-Wulf series craft.
I am not sure about the Engine and wings.

AMC Matador coupe | Bond Lifestyle

The Matador is the car of Francisco Scaramanga, and along with Nick Nack, they use the "flying" AMC Matador to kidnap Mary Goodnight.[55] The machine was 9.15 m (30 ft) long, 12.80 m (42 ft) wide, and 3.08 m (10 ft) high.[56] A stuntman drove the "car plane" to a runway.[54] It was not airworthy, so a 1 m (39 in)-long remote controlled model, built by John Stears, was used for the aerial sequences.[56][54]

Yeah, that's the same info I found all over the netbut nothing on about the aircraft part that's why I was wondering if someone could identify the tail booms and engine/wings cause I really do believe they are from different aircraft's.

Something from De Havilland? The tail seems Sea Vixen-ish (rather than from an OV-10 Bronco) while the wings could be from a Vampire or Venom?

The car was a Matador
...one of the worst cars to drive, but then again, most AMCs from that period had awful seating positions, heavy controls, and terrible handling.

The Aircraft components were a bolt-on kit that was available at that time.
An actual retail kit, possibly by the same company that did the Ford Pinto flying kit?
But I'm sorry, I don't remember anything else.

...
actually...now that I think more about it...I think the flying scenes were actually the flying Pinto!
Now I am starting to remember...
I am sure, that the similarity in body shape allowed for the filmmakers to cut in scenes of a flying Pinto.
If you looked carefully at the film, you could see the difference.
The Pinto is considerably smaller and lighter (than the heavy boat Matador) and more suited to flying.

This is all speculation at this point, since I can find nothing online to back me up.
The original flying Pinto was a Cessna pusher...but I'm sure there were variants.

And they definitely could have built a lightweight, light frame, shell of a Matador to attach wings to.

Just found... the flying car was a "radio controlled scale model".
Apparently its in a museum in London England.

Which would suggest that the wings and engine on the full size car
were a scratchbuilt thing that didn't need to function
...probably aircraft parts cobbled together (from a wrecking yard).

My memories of something being off between the look of the real car and the flying one,
are explained by it being a miniature model...not a Pinto.

I'm still looking for more info.
