I "re engineer" all my kits. These make them much stronger than butt joints and easier to line up.

What's your logic for choosing between "hand drawn glue tabs" and "separate tabs"... It's very hard for me to chose sometimes.

I guess mostly does it show. The overlap tabs I used on the Hanriot don't show up in the finished build. If there were overlap joiners on the fuselage that step looks hokey to me.

One thing I do plan on changing is the way I have been folding up the trailing edge to join the wings. This shows up too much to me. I plan on making a folded strip set back from the trailing edge to join the TE. On my next build this is what I am planning.

To me overlap tab joiners in any scale should be a separate part. Otherwise (unless of course you want one like, say, where an engine cowling meets the fuselage) there's a VERY noticeable 'step'.
