Just to get things "back on track". Very busy today with therapy miniature horsies but did manage to get a few pieces of paper stuck together.

Actually Cristoph Stalhart provides all the tail numbers for both the short nose and the long nose versions. It is really a nicely done, well fitting kit. I have had absolutely no issues with is reduced to 1/100.

Almost finished. Just some misc touch up and wait for the glue to dry. Then need to fabricate a mount for this bird in the only possible display to my mind --- in flight.

Calling this one a wrap.
Cristoph Stalhart really did a great job on this one. Apparently he redesigned it in 2014 or so from his original. Full disclosure I did do a major boo boo in attaching the front fuselage section. The part at the aft end of the canopy is about 3/16" too far forward. I though it was a butt joint (the bane of my existence) when in fact it should have been slipped inside the main fuse section. Cristoph did email me and tell me this but it was way too late to correct. The only other thing I did was to cut the intake splitters to look a little more like all the online pics I could see. I did try an experiment which needs further work. Instead of the flat elevator blisters I just carefully shaped some glue in 2 or 3 passes. Because it is clear it actually looked good as is but I have a Sharpie that after testing on another unused section matched perfectly. Sorry for the poor pictures. I have to try to find a place with better lighting. Here is the full Google album for anyone interested. https://photos.app.goo.gl/NPccohAFf5yhqmmZ9

Looks super fella. And you're right- in flight is the only way to go with a model like this. Mr. Stahl sure knows his stuff.
