Blue Angels F11F Tiger
One of the prettiest flying blow torches to ever take flight the F11F Tiger was one of the last of the famous "Iron Works" planes to have Leroy Grumman's touch. The Tiger gained most of its fame flying with the famed Blue Angels from 1957 - 1968. As a young boy I saw the "Blues" take to the air in their Tigers many times. When they did a demo flight at a USAF installation they really out did themselves!
This is the free Stahlhart 1/60 kit shrunk through the magic of math to 1/100. Started it today while trying to deal with the unintended water landing of my Hanriot HD-1.

I knew Bruno was more than just a pretty face! Good luck with this one MS. Rest assured on this site other members can TOTALLY relate to how it feels to spend so much time on a project only to have it snuffed out in a blink.

looking good. it has those petal nose cones. I used to like the concept for domed shaped parts but for the sleek noses of aircraft they're kinda pia. looking forward to your solution.

No update today ;-(
Woke up to a 'puter (6 months old) with an obvious video card issue. Wound up having to reload from scratch which seems to have fixed it. Of course my poor lil Tiger just sat there looking at me all day.... Haven't even been able to check up on all you guys & dolls progress!!!
