Cessna / Piper Civilian Airplanes?
Last day I was websurfing and discovered that except the Cessna 150, 172, 182 and 310, Piper 18 and 23, Beech 35V and Starship, there is a total lack of civilian post-war small planes.
Anybody has found another models, and what would be the cause of this gap? Me, particulary, would like to do a Citation or a Learfan.

The bulk of my "civilian" aircraft are from Murph and Model Art... I have a 2-3 stragglers from other designers.

Murph's Models (https://murphs-models.webs.com/) has Many Cessna and Piper models. Each model tends to have multiple paint schemes available too.
Cessna: 177 Cardinal/ 177RG, 195, Caravan Piper: Aztec and Seminole |

Mr. Gary Pilsworth, British card model designer has several private aircraft uploaded here for free download. Very nice models but with poor building instructions, aimed only for experienced builders. But they are extremely accurate and very attractive. Schreiber, from Germany, has perhaps the most beautiful card aircraft models EVER designed: The Piper PA-18 Super Cub and the Cessna 150.

Also check Fiddlers Green light aircraft section. There are a fair number of light planes other than those mentioned. One of my favorites is the Pietenpol Camper.

Here are some paper Pipers from the downloads.
http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/v...=searchresults I built the little 1/87 Cub. It is a lovely model. I plan to build the Cessna 140 here. It is one of the prettiest little planes and a hoot to fly. http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/v...=searchresults I agree that military and modern jets seem to dominate the "market." Personally, I would like to see more golden age airliners in US airline liveries. If the Store-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named ever reopens, Bruno has a couple of pretty Wacos if you like the older planes.
