Just tell 'em it was a French airplane. For some reason many of the French a/c seem to have "backwards" props

You missed British aircraft. They ALL had reversed propellers.

Moshe

Great work on an old model

I built other airliners from WHV kits, but not this one.

Congratulations

Isaac

yes a very nice old Papercraft. I love it.
The Display is superb !

One of my first "big" Buildings was this model printed by the old "Lehrmittelinstitut Wilhelmshaven" (a gift by my father about 1968).
Last Year i also start with a 2nd. Model by "Möve-Verlag".
All of these Models shown differnt resp. missing Colorlines:
the original Lufthansa-Design was the same above and below the Window-Line.
Below is the last blue Line missing (only by the Möwe-Version) and the Yellow-arc in front (both versions).

so long Helmut

As mentioned before, this DC-3 has a terrible mistake. The fuselage section on the model is circular. The original DC-3 IS NOT circular. Apart from that, it is a very attractive model. The coloring issues, in my opinion, are not as important as the round fuselage section.

The round fuselage on the WMV model - what a disappointment! This was the first serious paper model I did 25 years ago, picking up a boyhood hobby, and it still adorns the ceiling of my attic - now I wish you had not told me this...
May have to build the Geli version, in Martinair colours.
